The specific production process is as follows:
1. Printing solder paste.
After the solder paste is warmed up, stir it, and then put a small amount on the stencil of the printing machine. The amount should be 3/2 of the solder paste when the squeegee advances. After the first trial printing, pay attention to whether the solder paste at the LED pad position on the FPC is full, whether there is less or more tin, and whether there is a short circuit. This check is very critical, and if the check is not strict, it will cause poor quality later.
2. Patch. Put the printed FPC on the fixture and automatically send the board to the placement position.
The program of the placement machine is pre-programmed. As long as there is no problem with the first board placement, the subsequent production will be stable. What needs to be noted here is that the polarity of the LED and the resistance value of the chip resistor should not be confused. Another thing to note is that the mounting position should not be shifted.
3. Intermediate inspection links.
Need to pay attention to check the polarity of the LED on the LED strip (whether it is reversed), whether the mounting is offset, whether there is a short circuit, whether the resistance value is correct, etc.
4. Reflow soldering.
It should be noted here that the reflow temperature must be controlled well. If it is too low, the solder paste will not melt, and cold soldering will occur; if it is too high, FPC will easily foam. Also, the preheating temperature should be appropriate. Too low the flux will not evaporate completely, and there will be residues after reflow, which will affect the appearance; too high will cause the flux to evaporate prematurely, resulting in false soldering during reflow, and may produce tin Beads.
5. Finished product inspection.
Here you need to check the appearance of the product to see if there is any soldering defects, solder balls, short circuits, etc. Then there is electrical inspection to test whether the electrical performance of the product is intact and whether the parameters are correct.
6. Pouring glue.
Among the materials used for waterproof light bars, epoxy resin AB glue and PU polyurethane are more commonly used in the market.
7. Testing, aging, and packaging finished products!
The packaging of LED strips is generally 5 meters per roll, and is packed in anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bags.
